Public vs Authenticated access

Every share has an access type:

Public — Anyone with the link

• No sign-in required.
• Best for: marketing assets, public deliverables, friends/family.
• Add a password if you want a thin extra layer.

Authenticated — Specific people only

• Only the emails on your access list can download — they sign in to prove it's them.
• Best for: client deliverables, internal files, NDAs.
• Each person on the list gets an invitation email immediately when the share is created.

Switch any time from My Transfers → file options → Access.
