Every share has an access type:
Public — Anyone with the link
- No sign-in required.
- Best for: marketing assets, public deliverables, friends/family.
- Add a password if you want a thin extra layer.
Authenticated — Specific people only
- Only the emails on your access list can download — they sign in to prove it's them.
- Best for: client deliverables, internal files, NDAs.
- Each person on the list gets an invitation email immediately when the share is created.
Switch any time from My Transfers → file options → Access.
