Restricting who can upload (authenticated access)
By default, a Request Files link is public — anyone who has the URL can upload. If you only want specific people to be able to upload (clients, candidates, teammates), switch the link to Authenticated access and list the emails you expect.
How to set it up
- Open your Request Files link.
- Go to the User Access tab and choose Authenticated.
- Type or pick the emails (or contact groups) of the people who should be able to upload.
Anyone who isn't on the list will see an "access denied" message when they open the link.
Invite by email
When you add emails to the access list, each person automatically gets an invite email with a link to your upload page. You can also send (or resend) invites later from the link's Send over Email action. People you invite this way are added to the access list automatically, so the link works for them right away.
What the people you invite will see
On opening the link they see your title, your message and your theme. If they aren't on the list, they see a short "you don't have access" notice instead of the upload form.
